Qi Wu is a partner at Merits & Tree. Prior to joining Merits & Tree, Mr. Wu served as the head of the trial team in the court, and successively served as the legal head of a financial company, a listed auto parts company, and a medical device company.

Mr. Wu’s practice areas are dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, regulatory and compliance. He is good at handling civil and commercial disputes, especially financial disputes, foreign trade disputes, company equity disputes and labor disputes. He is also good at providing compliance services from the perspective of disputes/risk prevention and control. Mr. Wu has worked in the court for 14 years, as the head of the trial team, hearing more than 3700 civil, commercial and financial cases. He is good at providing risk solutions for customers with the combination of judge thinking and business thinking; he has also presided over a number of cross-border investment and M & A projects for German and Japanese enterprises; his service areas cover finance, real estate, medical, high-end manufacturing, foreign trade, etc.
